Joyride!

I was out at Joyride last night... it has become a regular thing for Thursday nights, with much of the crew from Durham forest. It is amazing the work out you can get on the cross country loop,and the pump track. I think it took about a week before Winston & Lewis turned it into time trials!











Below is one of the pumptracks, this is less than 5% of the whole area.... 3 laps race pace took me 39.9 seconds...I don't think I took a breath during that period. What's amazing is the fastest kids managed to do it in 31 seconds

Jan 11 2010 - Run

Nice Run tonight - I spend a fair bit of time picking out the music for the run. I am always looking for something with high energy - often techno. Tonight though, it was Disco, yeah! Born to be alive playing through the mp3 player, followed by Do the hustle - it worked really well, and I extended my run by a few K to almost 15km.

Latest XC ski

I went for an XC with my brother in law...he is mostly always on for an epic ride, ski etc. This time it was taking off from the Brock tract and making our way over to Glen Major/Walkers Woods. Must bring the camera next time, really nice land
